Writer/historian Dan Sheridan is invited to the old Toomey ranch, but when he starts investigating the 90-year old massacre of the Toomey brothers along with twenty-five other men and the loss of four thousand head of cattle, he finds himself being tracked by vicious killers straight out of his most violent stories.
