Based on the latest research in reading instruction, Endeavor is designed to build adult learners' vocabulary, reading and writing skills. Each student book in the series contains ten thematic lessons that relate to students' life experiences and interests. Lessons in the series are non-sequential. The same lesson structure and format is used in each student book making it ideal for use in a multi;evel classroom. Each lesson includes : lesson objectives and key vocabulary ; prereading activiities and midreading questions that keep students engaged and aid comprehensiion. Fiction and nonfiction reading passages written specifically for adult learners ; "After you read" exercises that reinforce vocabulary, reading comprehension, and writing skills ; "Write about it" activities that guide students through the writing process using graphic organizers. Endeavor is easy to use and can be adapted at each level includes lesson plans, lesson notes, reproducible exercises, and techniques for building reading fluency and language skills.
