It [this book] elaborates on critical issues discussed at the Council's [National Council of Schools of Professional Psychology (NCSPP)] 1990 midwinter conference in San Antonio, which addressed the theme of the core curriculum in professional psychology training. /// Topics covered are the six core curriculum areas identified during NCSPP's 1986-87 conference (relationship, assessment, intervention, research and evaluation, consultation and education, and management and supervision), which are reaffirmed in the light of four curricular values.
