Summary The vast land and culture of China are introduced in this fascinating program about the immigration of Chinese Americans and the traditions that they brought with them. Children learn how to count to ten and say a few words in Chinese, take a tour of New York City's Chinatown to see exotic foods and herbs, and learn how to make a Chinese ink painting. They'll also enjoy an animated folktale called The Magic Pot and learn to sing a Chinese folk song called "Wo Ti Hao Chia Shiang," which means "my old hometown."
