Summary This bulletin was released by the U.S. Department of Agriculture in order to address dressed poultry transit. It was released a couple of weeks before Thanksgiving. The refrigerator, with its transportation and storage abilities, transformed the holiday. It brought more options as to what one could prepare for the big day. If someone lived in an area that did not have a certain food available at that point in time, they could now rely on food to be brought from far and wide and be put on sale for them.
