Summary |
[Reprint of the summary included in "One Hundred Years of Progress" , a centennial commemorative of the Peck, Stow & Wilcox Company published in August 1919.] |
Note |
[Today the Peck, Stow & Wilcox Company is credited with producing the most extensive line of Mechanics' Hand Tools in the world. This in addition to being acknowledged leader in the sheet-metal-working machine and tool industry. A trip of investigation in foreign fields a few years ago brought to light the astonishing fact that Pexto tools and machines are in use in shops and factories of countries to which Pexto Products have never been exported directly. They have been carried there by mechanics themselves. The whole story, from 1819 to 1919, is a record of consistent growth, consistent progress toward the leadership in which The Peck, Stow & Wilcox Company takes such justifiable pride today.] |
