Agata Górska and commissioner Sławek Tomczyk are called to the crime scene. The seemingly simple matter is complicated with the review of subsequent files of Brzozowska's patients. The circle of suspects is widening and it is difficult for policemen to find a point of entry. The investigation is additionally hampered by the fact that Michał Stępnia, Agata's former partner, was murdered. The policewoman becomes entangled in a game whose rules she does not know and in which no rules of fair play are in force.
