Summary Shall we continue following in the footsteps of Leland Thomas and will be present in Penrith as Princess Ashley becomes proficient with the bow 'neath the tutoring of the archer. A grievous error results in a rift between Prince Frederick and the Princess Ashley creating much tribulation for Leland. Lady Juliana's mischievous behavior becomes a concern for Princess Rebecca. The relationship between Sir Cartwith and Whitney moves forward and becomes much more. When traveling to Dumfries with the King and Prince Frederick for a fox hunt, prior to leaving Gretna Tom pleads with Bridget to relocate to Penrith. Having grown up a commoner on the outskirts of the castle walls, Leland Thomas learned from this father to become an expert archer to feed the hungry villagers. Despite the king's warning that poaching carried a severe penalty, Leland continued in his quest for the hunt. Because of his ability to avoid detection while in the king's forest, the villagers came to refer to him as The Sly Fox.... Leland's skill with the bow not only won him the king's tournament and thus the right to legally hunt in the king's forest., he also fell in love with a winsome lass who, unbeknownst to him, was the Princess Ashley.
