Summary |
"This manual was developed for use in a freshman level course required of all psychology majors at Arizona State University. The course carries four semester hours of credit, three for lecture and one for work in the laboratory. The primary purpose of the laboratory is to bring each student into contact with behavior as an orderly experimental subject matter. A secondary purpose is to introduce psychology majors to laboratory techniques that they will use in later courses. The laboratory work involves studying the operant behavior among rats. Each laboratory exercise details the procedure to be used in that exercise, instructions on recording the data, blank forms for recording the data, and discussion questions"--Preface.
