Summary |
This highly-detailed work examines the unique geology of the maritime provinces of eastern Canada. The volume includes a history of how the islands were originally formed and the island's early prehistoric history and how that shaped the islands we see today. The red sandstone of Prince Edward Island is examined in chapter six of the book while the island in general is discussed throughout the work.
