Summary |
Set in Budapest in the 1930s. Restaurant owner Laszlo hires the pianist Andra?s to play in his restaurant. Both men fall in love with the beautiful waitress Ilona, who inspires Andra's to his only composition. This song becomes a hit but its haunting melancholy comes with consequences. In the meantime, a German also has eyes for Ilona. |
