Biography |
Piece of the canvas tent from the Ringling Brothers Barnum and Bailey Combined Show. Burnt as a result of the fire that took place in Hartford, Connecticut on July 6, 1944. Material was donated by the owners of J.H. Anderson, Jewelers, Inc., East Hartford, Connecticut to the Manchester Public Library in 2008 for the One Book, One Village community read dedicated to the Hartford Circus Fire. Material is stored for preservation. Photographs are available. |
