Summary |
In 1944 the Allies had landed in Normandy and the Germans were losing the war, but the SS and the Arrow Cross made it their top priority to exterminate the Jews. While most people claimed that nothing could be done, the diplomats of five neutral countries stationed in Budapest proved them wrong. "Passport to life" shows that men of goodwill and courage could stand up to evil, and even if they could not stop it, could slow down the genocide. The film also shows how those saved by the diplomats have made significant contributions to society. |
