Summary |
Brainiac attacks: Lex Luthor forms a dangerous alliance with the powerful computer/villain Brainiac. But when Brainiac reveals its true intentions, Superman must brave the mysterious phantom zone to find the strength to survive the deadly showdown. |

Super-villains: Bizarro: A cloning experiment gone wrong courtesy of Lex Luthor, Bizarro now wanders the Earth wreaking havoc with all the powers of Superman but none of the goodwill. More misguided than malevolent, Bizarro wages a twisted war against Superman, whom he sees as an imposter and a threat. |
