Summary |
First introduced as Edith Bunker's outspoken, liberal cousin on the classic TV show All in the Family, Maude Findlay navigated life with her fourth husband Walter, divorced daughter Carol, and Carol's son Phillip. Often controversial and always honest, the series never shied away from relevant topics and remains a benchmark for the sharp, intelligent writing, depth of character, and its wit and humor. Maude was a role model for fiercely liberated women and paved the way for other female-driven sitcoms. |
