| Summary |
Disillusioned by the war, air captain Cliff Brandon is sullen, depressed and on one fateful night, drunk! Stumbling home that evening, he throws some cash at a beggar, only to find out in the morning he's actually paid the man for three months of housekeeping service from his daughter, the beautiful Shu-Jen. Before long, Shu-Jen has Brandon's life straightened out and the two have grown intense feelings for one another. But can their love survive the ravages of war? |
