Summary Mr. Stewartson relates his memories of delivering bread by horse and wagon for the General Baking Company (Bond Bread) of Hartford, Conn. He decribes the training and daily care of his horse, Daisy, and describes what might happen on a typical day in the life of a horse drawn delivery driver. Local citizens mentioned include Ralph Maraclee, Timmy Ryan, Harriet Ryan, and Harold Morrell.
