Summary Charles Dickens's classic periodical contained a frame story, several short stories, and two novels. This publication contains just the frame story and the short stories. Master Humprey, a lonely London man, decides to start up a club where the members would read aloud the manuscripts that Master Humphrey kept in an old longcase clock. The members include Mr Pickwick, who also stars in Dickens's 'The Pickwick Papers'.
