Caroline must leave behind her fantasy world inspired by a 1990s television show and create a real life at college, despite her mother's concerns and her own self-doubt.
After her parents' divorce and her move to Arizona with her mother, Caroline Sands invents a whole new life for herself. She was never particularly good at making friends, but uses characters from Felicity, an old show she discovered online. Can she build a new-- a real-- life at college? Her mother has given her one semester to prove she can; otherwise, it's back to living at home-- and a lot of therapy.
