Summary A highly-structured remedial program that directly teaches the structure of the language to students and adults who have been unable to learn with other teaching strategies, or who may require multisensory language instruction. The 12 steps guide students through the pitfalls of decoding and encoding. Interactive lessons require students to use visual, auditory, kinesthetic, and tactile senses to reinforce skills learned and engage motor memory. All materials and texts are phonetically controlled containing wordlists, sentences, and paragraphs that incorporate only the elements of word structure that have been taught up to the corresponding lesson.
