It is the year 1992 and Peru is in the middle of internal war against the communist guerrilla group Shining Path. In this turbulent environment, medical student Isabella Castle witnesses hospital patients dying under mysterious circumstances. As she navigatges the prejudiced traditional system and battles her own inner struggles, the search for the truth will lead to an unexpected path where antagonistic forces inside the government and the ecclesiastical heirarchy battle for power in order to hide a dark cecret within the Catholic church.
