They were entering a region that had been in turmoil for more than fifty years. The Gaza Strip, and its Palestinian Arab population, fell under Israel's control following the Six Day War of 1967. This film begins in Nablus, on the West Bank, and examines the lives of three Palestinian children, indoctrinated in the creed of Jihad and growing up in the bullet-riddled streets of Gaza. On May 2, 2003 in the midst of filming, James Miller became a casualty of that same conflict, shot dead by an Israeli soldier in the Gaza Strip. 521 8 TV-14|bHBO Video. 538 DVD; Region 1; 2.0 stereo; original television presentation aspect ratio, 1.33:1. 546 In English or Spanish with subtitled Arabic; closed- captioned in English. 600 10 Miller, James,|d1968-2003. 650 0 Arab-Israeli conflict. 650 0 Children and violence|zMiddle East. 650 0 Children and war|zMiddle East. 650 0 Children, Palestinian Arab|vBiography. 650 0 Children, Palestinian Arab|xSocial conditions. 650 0 Arab-Israeli conflict|vBiography. 650 0 Arab-Israeli conflict|xSocial aspects. 650 0 Arab-Israeli conflict|xPsychological aspects. 651 0 Gaza Strip|xEthnic relations. 651 0 West Bank|xEthnic relations. 655 7 Documentary films.|2lcgft 655 7 Video recordings for the hearing impaired.|2lcgft 700 1 Miller, James,|d1968-2003. 700 1 Shah, Saira. 710 2 HBO Documentary Films. 710 2 Frostbite Films (Firm) 710 2 Home Box Office (Firm) 710 2 HBO Video (Firm) 994 90|bXOF
