Summary The Harvard Sussex Program on Chemical Biological Warfare (CBW) Armament and Arms Limitation (HSP) offers the text of the convention convened by the League of Nations that adopted the 1925 "Protocol for the Prohibition of the Use in War of Asphyxiating, Poisonous or Other Gases, and of Bacteriological Methods of Warfare." The protocol prohibits "the use in war of asphyxiating, poisonous, or other gases and of all analogous liquids, materials or devices," as well as "bacteriological methods of warfare."
