Summary |
James Fergusson was a 17th-century Scottish minister most remembered for his commentaries on Paul's epistles. This volume collects his writings on Paul's letters to the Galatians, Ephesians, Philippians, Colossians and Thessalonians. Fergusson wrote for the common reader rather than an elite academic audience, and for this reason his works continue to be highly regarded. British Baptist preacher Charles Spurgeon would later describe Fergusson's commentaries as the work of "a grand, gracious, savoury divine." |
