Summary The Aurora was a steam yacht out of Dundee, Scotland. She wasℓused for both whale hunting, primarily in theℓarctic waters off of Newfoundland and Greenland, as well as for rescue missions to the arctic when other ships were caught or destroyed in the sea ice. This volume contains a personal account of the author's journey on the ship in 1884.
