The Gerald Peary Collection consists of approximately 4,000 fiction and non-fiction books on which feature films were based and represents over thirty years of research and collecting. Collector/scholar Gerald Peary taught film studies for thirty-five years at Suffolk University in Boston, MA. The author of nine books and writer-director of three feature documentaries, he served on film festival juries around the world and wrote on film for many publications including The Boston Phoenix, The Boston Globe, The Chicago Tribune, The Toronto Globe and Mail, and The Los Angeles Times.
