Summary William Brewster (1566/1567-1644) was probably born in Scrooby, Nottingham, England, and as a Pilgrim, spent some years in Leyden, The Netherlands. In 1620 he immigrated with the "Mayflower" to Plymouth, Massachusetts. Descendants and relatives lived in New England, New York, Illinois, Wisconsin and elsewhere.
