       soldados prisioneros de guerra al final de la cruenta 
       campana militar del norte de Africa. En el puerto de 
       Barcelona, que fue el lugar aceptado por ambas partes para
       el intercambio, cuatro mil soldados, la mitad de cada 
       bando, fueron intercambiados en el muelle de Espana, el 27
       de octubre de 1943, en una operacion que supuso la 
       intervencion de dos buques de cada bando. Uno de los 
       prisioneros es un judio aleman de 24 anos que, en caso de 
       haber sido devuelto a Alemania, corria el riesgo de ser 
       enviado a un campo de concentracion. Un grupo de personas 
       unidas por las circunstancias participo en un complot para
       rescatar de forma muy atrevida a aquel soldado judio"
