Summary This study explored gender differences in attitudes toward smoking by ex-smokers. Gender differences in smoking attitudes were assessed by gathering data from 15 male and 15 female participants, utilizing a Smoking Attitudes Scale. This research study was designed to educate nurses on the difficulties patients meet when attempting to quit smoking. The study promotes the idea that patients' attitudes affect patient outcomes.
