| Summary |
In this phenomenological study five participants described their experiences of loneliness. Within semi-structured, face-to-face interviews five participants were asked to describe their loneliest experience. The purpose of this study was to discover the nature of loneliness as described by the participants. The aim of this study was to understand how each of the participants experienced and coped with loneliness. |
