Summary Rapunzel tells of a girl locked in a tower by a witch who gains access by climbing up the girl's long hair. When a prince discovers Rapunzel and the two plan to run away, the witch tries to separate them, but they are reunited at last. Rumplestiltskin is about a dwarf who spins straw into gold for the miller's daughter. In exchange, he claims the girl's firstborn child, unless she can guess his name. For days she cannot discover his name. When she does, she saves her child. The princess on the glass hill recounts how the youngest of three sons obtains a magical horse, which he uses to perform three feats in a contest to win the princess.
