Summary |
The year is 1775 and war is in the air. Egged on by Ellie the Eagle, poet Ralph Waldo Emerson recalls the story of Paul Revere's ride to Lexington to warn colonial leaders that the British were on the march. Half a day later came the "shot heard 'round the world" and the beginning of our war for independence. |
