Another of Kaminsky's clever concoctions of fictional mystery centered around real Hollywood stars of the 40's. This time, tough but none-too-bright private eye Toby Peters is called in to save one of the Marx Brothers from someone who claims a huge gambling debt. Peters has to seek the aid of some unsavory types, like Al Capone, with outrageous results, including a corpse in his hotel room.
