Summary |
Set in Coney Island, this is the story of Sara, a lonely widowed mother who becomes addicted to amphetamines prescribed for weight loss by a sleazy doctor; her heroin-addicted son Harry ; his best friend Tyrone; and Harry's girlfriend Marion, a fellow addict trying to distance herself from her wealthy father. |
