Summary |
The moral foundation of a small Texas town is torn apart in this explosive drama about power and greed. When a convict (Robert Redford) escapes from prison and is reported to be heading towards his hometown, the news evokes various reactions from many of the town's residents. The sheriff (Marlon Brando) must find the fugitive before a drunken and bloodthirsty mob does. |
