Contents Fantastic Mr. Fox -- The Grand Budapest Hotel -- The life aquatic -- Moonrise kingdom.
Summary Fantastic Mr. Fox : Mr. and Mrs. Fox live an idyllic home life with their son Ash and visiting young nephew Kristofferson. But after twelve years of quiet domesticity, the bucolic existence proves too much for Mr. Fox's wild animal instincts. Soon he slips back into his old ways as a sneaky chicken thief and in doing so, endangers not only his beloved family, but the whole animal community. Trapped underground without enough food to go around, the animals band together to fight against the evil Farmers--Boggis, Bunce and Bean--who are determined to capture the audacious, fantastic Mr. Fox at any cost. In the end, he uses his natural instincts to save his family and friends.
The Grand Budapest Hotel : The adventures of Gustave H, a legendary concierge at a famous European hotel between the wars, and Zero Moustafa, the lobby boy who becomes his most trusted friend. The story involves the theft and recovery of a priceless Renaissance painting and the battle for an enormous family fortune.
The life aquatic : Internationally reknown oceanographer Steve Zissou and his crew - Team Zissou - set sail on an expedition to hunt down the mysterious, always elusive, possibly non-existant Jaguar Shark that supposedly killed Zissou's partner during the documentary filming of their latest adventure. On this journey, Steve's crew are joined by a young airline co-pilot, who may or may not be Zissou's son, a beautiful journalist who has been assigned to write a profile of Zissou, and Eleanor, Zissou's estranged wife and co-producer. They face overwhelming complications including pirates, kidnapping, and bankruptcy.
Moonrise kingdom : Set on an island off the coast of New England in the summer of 1965, tells the story of two twelve-year-olds who fall in love, make a secret pact, and run away together into the wilderness. As various authorities try to hunt them down, a violent storm is brewing off-shore, and the peaceful island community is turned upside down in more ways than anyone can handle.
