Summary |
Eddy Goldfarb is the 100-year-old creative genius behind many of the most popular toys and games of the twentieth century. This is an entertaining, family friendly documentary which takes the viewer into the mind and workshop of the inventor best known for the iconic Yakity Yak Teeth, Kerplunk, Stompers, Bubble Gun and nearly 800 classic toys. The child of immigrants, Eddy designed his first toys while serving on the Batfish Submarine during WWII, launching an 80-year career as an independent toy inventor. These days, Eddy prototypes new toys in his garage machine shop, creates translucent lithophane portraits on his 3D printer, and writes 100-word stories. Eddy is an endearing storyteller who shares his philosophies of life and his wisdom on aging. |
