Summary Misty: On Chincoteague Island, off the coast of Virginia, a young brother and sister try to capture a wild mare named Phantom. Wildfire, the arabian heart: A teenage girl visiting her uncle falls in love with a ranch hand and finds herself racing at the county fair. Wind Dancer: A girl loses her ability to walk during a riding accident. Her physical therapist hopes that the girl can form a bond with her therapy horse that will allow her to walk again. Mary White: In this true life story, a man reflects on the year he spent with his daughter, who was a young social reformer and expert horsewoman.
