Summary |
Examines the life of Walter Shaw, a telecommunications inventor who, prevented by corporate greed and government corruption from achieving success through obtaining the patents that he deserved, allowed himself to be exploited by the mafia, who had use for his inventions, and whose decline contributed to his son's turning to a life of crime as a jewel thief. |
