Summary |
This documentary tells the fate of the World War II heavy cruiser Indianapolis using first-person accounts from the last crew and their families. A devastating torpedo attack killed three-fourths of the crew, and survivors spend five days floating alone in the Pacific, before their miraculous rescue. Includes rare WWII footage, previously unpublished photographs, open-ocean reenactments and new footage from one of the last heavy cruisers of the era in existence. |
