Summary |
The gambler: Kenny Rogers stars as the high-rolling frontier gambler Brady Hawkes, who has been summoned to Yuma, California, to rescue the son he never knew. Along the way, he befriends Billy Montana, a young Easterner who fancies himself a professional poker player. Brady teaches Billy a few lessons--about cards and also about life--and the two men end up forming a strong team. |

The coward of the county: A small town preacher must deal with his nephew, who has taken ap ledge of pacifism at the request of his dying father, only to have his oat htested when the Gatlin boys attack his loving wife. |

The gambler: the adventure continues: Brady Hawkes, his son Jeremiah, and Billy Montana are on a train bound for a high-stakes game in San Francisco when a gang of vicious outlaws stops the train. Charlie McCourt and his murderous gang are after gold being transported by railroad baron Arthur Stobridge. When Stobridge informs McCourt that the gold is on its way by stagecoach to the town bank in Jubilee, McCourt takes young Jeremiah hostage and demands $1 million ransom. |

The gambler: the legend continues: In this third installment of the Gambler series, Brady Hawkes and his partner Billy Montana visit the legendary Buffalo Bill and his Wild West Show. They meet with Sitting Bull and discover that military and government officials are stealing cattle and blaming it on a band of renegade Sioux. Brady and Billy also befriend Mary Collins, a schoolteacher who works with Indian children. |
