Summary |
Agnes McDonnell is a tough, independent, country gentlewoman living alone on a large estate off the West coast of Ireland at the end of the 19th century. When James Lynchehaun, a peasant from out of town, wanders across her property, he used his charm and handsome magnetism to allure her into employing him as manager of the estate. Attracted to him, Agnes agrees, but soon discovers his true intentions are more devious ... and malicious! |
