This colored postcard view postmarked 1907 was lithographed in Germany and was published by Robbins Bros., Boston, Massachusetts.ℓLaunched in 1888, theℓChateaugayℓwas the Champlain Transportation Company's first iron-hulled, side-wheel steamboat. 205 feet long, theℓChateaugayℓprovided passenger service until it wasℓcut into 20 sections and transported by rail to Lake Winnipesaukee, NH, and reconstructed as theℓMount Washingtonℓin 1940. |
