Summary America's population of elderly veterans is now the largest in history. Ten million veterans are now 65 years of age or older. Two million are 85 years of age or older. The demand for quality care for veterans with Alzheimer's disease and other types of dementia is soaring. The Armed Forces Veterans Homes Foundation, in partnership with the National Associaiton of State Veterans Homes, is arming caregivers with the information and skills needed to bring culture change to veteran dementia care.
