Note Imagine a world where humans share the power of sentience with nine other races. A world made up of six primal forces known as The Six Energies, where terrifyng Undead roam the empty places where a great empire once stood against them. A world where sorcerers operate in secrey to avoid destruction at the hands of the Guilds and where those Guilds develop ever-newer Energetic powers. A world that is, itself, alive, and whose heartbeat can mean the overthrow of kingdoms. Create your character from any of ten Races, including the Heolas- genderless nomads who are born from the stars- the militaristic and serpentine Crawn, and the forest-dwelling Wellyn, small creatures whose culture revolves around playing pranks and practical jokes. Players can belong to one of six Guilds- one for each of The Six Energies that make up the world. As a Soman, players can heal or hurt with Body Energy; Mentarchs use Mental Energy to read minds and manipulate thoughts; or choose from amongst the four other guilds: Evokers, Mystics, Umbrists, and Charismatics. Beyonder takes place on the continent of Tammara, rich with history, culture, and cretaures. The system aspects have been designed to work seamlessly into the setting. The setting contains deep opportunities for storytelling, each locale provides its own quirks and eccentricities, and players can easily make a near-endless stream of characters.
