When Admiral Horatio Lord Nelson was killed in the Battle of Trafalgar, there was a great outpouring of national grief. This 1810 biography, though more than 700 pages in length, was printed cheaply for mass production. Nelson was held in high esteem by the high and low alike, and his death was mourned by all because of his great contributions.
