Husband and wife LAPD officers, Ivor and Susan Maddox, are juggling half a dozen investigations, including the brutal murder of a grandmother and her two-year-old granddaughter. On the domestic side, the Maddoxes are in the midst of moving, and Sue is trying to persuade her widowed mother to come live with them.
