| Summary |
When unhappy housewife Thelma and her wise-cracking waitress friend Louise decide to take a break from their lives--Thelma from her chauvinistic husband and Louise from her commitment-shy musician boyfriend--they embark on a trip that leads to a tragic incident at a roadside honky tonk.
