Summary This pandemic does not only affect health aspects but also economic aspects. The world today faces a recession resulting from the covid-19 pandemic. Indonesia's economy continues to lead to a recovery, although not very significant. The current government continues to make various recovery efforts. One of the flagship programs includes encouraging and strengthening support for social protection and increasing the purchasing power of households as well as various business sectors, including small and medium-sized micro enterprises (MSMEs). This condition urges the world to create new breakthroughs to rise from this adversity. Academicians and practitioners need to work together to find the necessary solutions and developments. Surely, it will contribute to solve the problems in society by interdisciplinary cooperation. This collaboration will create innovations in science and technology especially business and economic field. This book includes in-depth discussions between academicians and practitioners, especially on how to strengthen the regional sectors to be the strong pillars of the country's economy. Interestingly, various methods are used to observe the problems, to explore the solutions, and to develop the innovation. Biography Aulia Herdiani completed her master degree from the State University of Malang, Indonesia and Yuan Ze Unviersity, Taiwan. She currently lectures in the State University of Malang. Besides lecturing, she actively conducts research in corporate governance, insider trading, teacher professionalism and learning assessment. She also serves as editor and reviewer in several journals in Indonesia and hadservedin theconference organizing team for the last five years. Agus Hermawan completed his master degreeat La Trobe University and his doctoral degreeat the State University of Malang (UM). He currently serves as the Vice Dean of Academic Affairs in UM. His specialties are: business education, entrepreneurship, consumer protection and SMEs.Setya Ayu Rahmawati completed her master degreeat Brawijaya University. Sheis also certified as Chartered Accountant, CSRS, and CSRA. She actively conducts research in behavioral accounting, capital market and cost accounting. She currently serves alsoin a team of Internal Control Unit and as journal editor.Mohd. Rizal Palil is a senior lecturer in Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM). He currently serves as the Deputy Executive Director (Strategic Data) and Pro Vice Chancellor Office (Strategy and Corporate Development) of UKM. He is part of the Center for Governance Resilience and Accountability Studies, Faculty of Economic and Management, UKM. He completed his doctoral degreeat theUniversity of Birmingham, UK. He has published numerous articles in reputable journals, proceedings, book chapters, and technical reports. His field of expertise is on tax and fiscal policy.Reza Havies is a Country Manager & Chief Representative of CPA Australia in Indonesia. He is currently responsible for the management of the CPA Australia Representative in Jakarta, comprising of staff in business development, member services and administration. The role will also undertake responsibilities as may be permitted pursuant to Representative Office license including the development of relationships with Government, Professional Bodies, and Business. He previously served as the Country Manager of Victoria University in Indonesia. He managed brand awareness and student recruitment in Indonesia, developed and maintained mutual collaboration activity with a local institution and representative agent.
