Summary |
World's end: Twenty years after attempting an epic pub crawl, five childhood friends reunite when one of them becomes hellbent on doing it again. They are convinced by mate Gary King, who drags his reluctant pals to their hometown to once again attempt to reach the gabled pub called the World's End. As they attempt to reconcile the past and present, they realize the real struggle is for the future, not just theirs but humankind's. Reaching the pub is the least of their worries. |
Shaun of the dead: No-hoper Shaun spends his life in his local, The Winchester, argues with his Mum and neglects his girlfriend Liz. When Liz dumps him, Shaun finally decides to get a grip. He must shape up and win her back. Unfortunately, the dead are returning to life and eating the living. Facing a Zombie epidemic armed with a cricket bat, Shaun sets out to rescue his mum, girlfriend, and - grudgingly, his step-dad and Liz's friends, and take them to the safest place he knows, The Winchester. |
Hot fuzz: When top London cop PC Nicholas Angel is reassigned to the quiet town of Sandford, he struggles with his seemingly crime-free world and oafish partner Danny. When several grisly accidents rock the village, it's not long before Danny's dreams of explosive, high-octane car-chasing, gun fighting, all-out action become reality. |
